Furthermore, there are three types of green investing that you might need to know and they are as follows: 

1. Green Equities       example: Buying stock in companies
2. Green Bonds         example: Fixed-income securities
3. Green Funds          example: ETF

Finally, you should better know that there is no firm definition of the word "green," and it is open to dispute what qualifies as a green investment based on each individual’s standpoint.
